Get to Know Dr. Breece
Dr. Sandy Breece is the Founder and Superintendent of Telesis Center for Learning, Inc. founded in 1991 which includes two tuition free, non-profit public charter schools: Telesis Preparatory Academy, accredited for grades 9-12 recently receiving an Excellent rating from the state of Arizona and Telesis Preparatory, accredited for grades K-8 recently receiving a Highly Performing rating by the state of Arizona. The total enrollment at both schools is currently 350 students. Dr. Breece added Paw Prints Preschool, a tuition-based preschool program for 3 and 4-year-olds, to the Telesis complex in 2019. Paw Prints has doubled in size since its opening.
Dr. Breece holds a doctorate degree in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University and has her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Elementary Education with an Early Childhood Education endorsement and a double minor in Psychology and Zoology from Arizona State University. Dr. Breece has one son, Ryan, a Telesis Graduate Class of 1997, and Ryan's wife, Tammy, both who work at Telesis, in addition to her grandson, Austin, a second grader at Telesis. She has many years of experience as a teacher, certified principal and certified superintendent all in Lake Havasu City, where she has lived for 56 years.
