Recently four students were selected by Mayor Nexsen and his committee members to represent Telesis Preparatory Academy in a fifteen-member Havasu Youth Advisory Council (HYAC). These students will work along side the City Council in helping them to understand and consider matters of importance to the young people in our community.
In a communication from Mayor Nexsen, he states, "You are Lake Havasu City’s future, and we want to hear your thoughts and ideas about how we can make our community a better place for everyone. . . .This is a rare opportunity for students who wish to be a charter member of Lake Havasu City’s first advisory council made up entirely of teens."
Congratulations to Academy students Tyler Fallis, Brianna Hollandsworth, Amr Nasef, and Sean Perez who were selected to represent Telesis Preparatory Academy on the city's Youth Advisory Council.
